ADVERTISING & MEDIA DESIGN AWARDS DISTINGUISHES SALSA WITH AN HONOURABLE MENTION IN THE POINT OF SALE DESIGN CATEGORY

SALSA, the Portuguese denim brand, was honoured last Thursday by the 2016 Advertising & Media Design Awards with an honourable mention in the Point of Sale Design category.


For the seventh year in a row, the A&M Design Awards awarded the best designs in Portugal. From a set of 212 submitted projects, the jury awarded 22 awards and 39 honourable mentions, among which SALSA for its new store concept, which harmonises the identity and authenticity of the brand with a buying scenario where denim is the key element.


Natural woods and iron are used in the remodelled Salsa stores, both in the flooring details and in the furniture, bringing strength and genuineness to the spaces, allowing customers to travel into an industrial setting.


The space is easily identifiable in terms of the female and male zone through the materials and colours used, as well as the signs. This distinction is shown in the recreation of the typical Salsa jeanswall, which here has a different and customised identity.


Salsa continues to focus on growth in Portugal and abroad with more store openings, where the new concept will be implemented, planned for 2017. The brand has more than 56 points of sale in Portugal, as well as the on-line store (www.salsastore.com).
